Jesus gives us some insight on leadership
In Matthew 20:26-28 “It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, 27 and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave; 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (NASB)
To be a Christian leader means to serve others and lead by example. In John 13, Jesus conducts the final Passover meal with the disciples, which we know as the Lord’s Supper. After the supper, Jesus takes and washes the feet of the disciples. In John 13:15, Jesus says, “For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you.” (NASB)
