About me

My name is William Christopher Priest, I go by Chris.

I was saved and baptized at the age of 8, I grew up in church, and attended a Christian school through seventh grade, that was part of the church I grew up in. I was ordained in the Pastoral ministry in April of 2015. I had been a deacon of the church for a few years prior, and also served in multiple other positions.

I am currently serving as Pastor of my third church, and with all three churches I have learned that there can be problems with leadership. Some leaders that I have worked with had a style of leadership that may have worked outside of the church, but it was not biblical leadership that worked within the church. This may be that they served in the military as a leader and then tried to lead in the church with a demanding, dictator style leadership. With that I believe that if leaders are trained and discipled to lead like Jesus our ultimate example, the churches that they lead in can see a change in the health of the church.
